Jijian Voronka is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Windsor. Drawing on Critical Disability Studies, Dr. Voronka explores research and service systems, and how inclusion strategies for mental health users impact these systems. She is Adjunct Professor at Ryerson University’s School of Disability Studies and Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University’s Department of Psychiatry. She received her PhD in Social Justice Education from the University of Toronto, and held a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at Rutgers University – Newark’s Department of Women’s & Gender Studies. She is a consulting editor for Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work, and is currently completing a book manuscript on disability inclusion practices for the University of Toronto Press.
