Scott Phillips

Chief Operating Officer for Zylorion Health Inc.

With a leadership background spanning over two decades in various industries, Scott Phillips possesses a wealth of operational expertise. Presently, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Zylorion Health Inc., a pioneering biotech company dedicated to creating and refining integrated precision mental health therapies. In addition, Mr. Phillips holds the title of Director of International Relations for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. 

Previously, Mr. Phillips held the position of Assistant Chair in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta. In this capacity, he was instrumental in the development and implementation of mental health education and service delivery initiatives. Throughout his time at the University, Mr. Phillips spearheaded several clinical programs that integrated education and research. These efforts were designed to foster not only a heightened focus on patient care, but also to pave the way for broader educational opportunities and a deeper comprehension of mental health challenges. 

Mr. Phillips gained his MBA from Cornell University and maintains a CPA designation, as well as a PMP designation. In 2019, Mr. Phillips was named one of the Top 40 under 40 in Edmonton, Alberta. He currently serves on the board of Our House Addiction Recovery Centre and previously held the role of Chair for the CASA (Child & Adolescent Services of Alberta) Foundation.
