Host a Fundraiser

Thank so much you for your interest in fundraising for Mental Health Research Canada (MHRC)! There has never been a more critical time for mental health. By creating a third-party fundraiser, you can bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring that the best practices are implemented to protect and support the mental well-being of all Canadians.

A third-party fundraiser is a fundraising event, activity or campaign organized by a passionate individual, affiliate group, or organization to raise funds for MHRC. MHRC is so grateful for all the third-party fundraisers' help on our behalf. Thanks to so many like-minded individuals and groups, we've extended our brand, grown our audiences, and received financial support to continue our crucial work.

In 2021, approximately 100 people from across the country hosted a Facebook Fundraiser for their birthday in support of Mental Health Research Canada. In total, they raised over $13,000!

Is your birthday coming up? Start raising money with a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser. With this simple - but effective - fundraiser, you can make a big difference in the world of mental health research. Learn more here.
