Data Set Manager & Knowledge Mobilization

Shauna is passionate about transforming research into knowledge that informs action. Through her work at MHRC, she helps make complex mental health evidence more accessible, engaging and useful to researchers, decision-makers, sector partners and communities across Canada. She has contributed to more than 50 knowledge products and initiatives including the Youth Mental Health Data Hub, an open-access platform that makes current evidence on youth mental health easier to find, explore and use. 

Shauna holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western University and completed Humber College’s Research Analyst Post-Graduate Program. She also mentors early-career researchers through applied learning opportunities, helping them develop the skills to communicate evidence clearly and effectively. In July 2026, she was shortlisted as one of Reach Out Together’s Top 25 Canadian Mental Health Leaders for 2026. 

In her free time, Shauna enjoys photography, baking, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
